How to Protect a Swimsuit

How to Protect a Swimsuit

Once a lady has a favorite bathing suit, the important thing is how to keep it from fading, three things cause a swimming clothes to fade faster than anything else:chlorine, strong detergents, and sunlight,so women would need to take some effort to protect their beach swimwear. As a professional Swimsuit Manufacturer, Here are some suggestions:

1. Pre-treat the swimwear
Pre-treat a brand new bathing suit before wearing it in a chlorinated swimming pool or the sea.Combine four cups of filtered tap water or bottled water with two teaspoons of distilled vinegar, which will help keep bright colors from bleeding.

2. Take a shower before swimming
This will ensure that the fabric absorbs fresh water and prevents it from soaking up too much chlorine.

3. Rinse the bathing suit in cold water.
Whether you were on the beach or at a swimming pool, immediately rinse your suit to remove as much chlorine or salt spray as possible. Please be advised that hot water is bad for swimwear.Never wash swimming clothes in hot water.

4. Hand Wash the dress bathing suits
The issue with washing machines is that they agitate all the delicate parts (like the cups, padding, ties, etc.).All this movement can damage a delicate suit, leaving things bunched, stretched,or otherwise ill-fitting.

5. Dry Off

Resist the urge to wring out every last drop of water.Doing so can damage the fibers, leaving your suit sagging in all the wrong places.Hanging a swimsuit (especially by the ties) can stretch it out too. Instead, place the wet bathing suit flat on a towel.Roll the towel from one end to the other, squeezing the water out of the bathing suit, repeat with the other side of the towel or a new towel to remove excess water, this would be a excellent method to dry the swimwear. Please also be reminded to avoid drying it in sunshine, which can fade the color.
