Der Stoff von Badeanz\u00fcgen besteht fast immer zu 80\u201390 % aus Nylon, Polyester oder einer \u00e4hnlichen Kunstfaser. Die anderen 10\u201320 % bestehen aus Spandex, Lycra oder Elastan (alles unterschiedliche Bezeichnungen f\u00fcr dasselbe). Es ist sehr wichtig, dass der Stoff von Badeanz\u00fcgen mindestens zu 10 % aus Spandex besteht, da der Spandex-Anteil dem Stoff die n\u00f6tige Dehnbarkeit verleiht.

\u2022 Nylon<\/strong>
Nylongewebe ist eine Alternative zu Polyester. Es ist leicht und bietet eine glatte Passform. Es hat jedoch auch Nachteile, da es nicht chlorbest\u00e4ndig und nicht so langlebig wie Polyester ist. Eigenschaften von Nylongewebe sind:
* Abriebfest
* Gl\u00e4nzend, weich
* Geringe Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme
* Hervorragende Elastizit\u00e4t
* Leicht zu waschen

\u2022 Polyester<\/strong>
Polyestergewebe dominiert seit Jahren die Wettkampfbadebekleidungsbranche. Ob mit Lycra gemischt oder pur, Polyester ist das f\u00fchrende Material f\u00fcr Wettkampfbadebekleidung. Neue Polyestertechnologien haben die Haptik und das Tragegef\u00fchl des Materials verbessert und es anderen Stoffen \u00fcberlegen gemacht. Polyester ist farbecht und chlorbest\u00e4ndig. Eigenschaften von Polyestergewebe sind:

* Schnelltrocknend

* 4-Wege-Stretch
* Leicht zu waschen

\u2022 Elasthan<\/strong>
Spandex, Lycra oder Elastan ist eine synthetische Faser, die f\u00fcr ihre au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Elastizit\u00e4t bekannt ist. Sie ist st\u00e4rker und haltbarer als Naturkautschuk. Es handelt sich um ein Polyester-Polyurethan-Copolymer, das 1958 vom Chemiker Joseph Shivers im Benger Laboratory von DuPont in Waynesboro, Virginia, erfunden wurde. Aufgrund seiner Elastizit\u00e4t und Festigkeit (Dehnbarkeit bis zum F\u00fcnffachen seiner L\u00e4nge) wird Spandex in eine breite Palette von Kleidungsst\u00fccken eingearbeitet, insbesondere in hautenge Kleidungsst\u00fccke wie Bade- und Strandbekleidung. Ein Vorteil von Spandex ist seine erhebliche Festigkeit und Elastizit\u00e4t und seine F\u00e4higkeit, nach dem Dehnen in die urspr\u00fcngliche Form zur\u00fcckzukehren und schneller zu trocknen als gew\u00f6hnliche Stoffe.
